Reference for “Speech Science – Bonnie Gross Associates”

I am delighted to provide this reference for Bonnie Gross.  Bonnie has been personally involved with the Richard Ivey School of Business since 2004 and all aspects of her business dealing with us have been professional, proactive and have yielded excellent results.

We are always looking for ways to add value to our educational experience.  Speech Science was identified as a program which could help students where English was not their native language in areas such as pronunciation, rhythm and intonation, as well as students whose first language was English, who required professional speaking skills instruction such as voice projection and improvement, reduction of cluttering, pacing, articulation and speaking with conf8idence. All of these skills were directly applied to interview skills, presentation and public speaking, class participation, as well as conversation and networking. Our program is highly participative and the ability to be heard and understood is critical to students’  success in the classroom as well as in their career aspirations.

We focused primarily on Advanced Speaking Skills for our international students.  The critical factor in her programs is that they track improvement and success quantitatively.   She has proven that she can improve speech intelligibility and decrease errors in pronunciation with excellent feedback on her methods and what they learned.

Bonnie is a caring provider, who focuses on each person as an individual from needs assessment to instruction.  She has shown flexibility in scheduling and a genuine interest in the students themselves.
